								  | Introduction: E-learning is being replaced with traditional methods. The e-learning also has its own limitations and cannot be replaced by traditional education, completely. The educational experts try to mix
 e-learning and traditional learning in different ways, despite the advantages and disadvantages of the both
 methods. This article aims to introduce and evaluate blended learning approach in the both teaching and
 learning process.
 Methods: This article is a descriptive overview. This is a review article that is based on collecting data
 from electronic resources (Magiran, Scientific Information Database, Science Direct and, Google Scholar).
 The relative books and article were reviewed. In the period of time from 1993 to 2010, 33 from 48 related
 sources were used.
 Result: Blended learning is an effective approach to enhance the learning effectiveness, easy access
 to educational materials, and increasing the cost-effectiveness. This method increases the learning
 attractiveness and gives educational opportunities to learners. Also, all learners do not educate in the same
 method and student difference consider in the process of learning.
 Conclusion: The combined practices in education, gives greater freedom to educational experts to use
 the educational environment. So teaching development and improvement will be accrued. Applying this
 method is recommended to educators.
