Introduction: School effectiveness is one of the main priorities of the education system. The success of the organization is in achieving the goals as well as applying management and effective leadership styles of the manager. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of resonant leadership style on school effectiveness through mediators of knowledge sharing and teachers’ job motivation.

The statistical population was all primary school teachers in Hashtgerd city and 280 people were selected as a sample using simple random sampling method. Data collection tools included 4 questionnaires (school effectiveness, peer leadership, knowledge sharing and teachers’ job motivation) with Likert scale. The content validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by expert professors and their reliability was confirmed by citing Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The relationships between the research variables were investigated using Pearson correlation test and second-order confirmatory factor analysis using SPSS software version 18 and LISREL version 8.5.
Results: The results showed the significant role of research variables in determining the effectiveness of schools. According to the findings, consistent leadership is effective on school effectiveness through two variables of job motivation and knowledge sharing. Among these, the mediating role of job motivation is more than knowledge sharing.
Conclusion: Based on the research findings, through harmonious leadership, it is possible to promote job satisfaction and knowledge sharing and increase the effectiveness of the school, which is recommended that school officials pay attention to this issue. |
