	<abstract>&lt;br&gt;
Background and Goal: Modular method is a form of in-service training which provides job skills into&lt;br&gt;
a form of independent training of audiences. Each of modular provides specific skill and at the same time&lt;br&gt;
besides the other modular led to a new and comprehensive skill. In fact, any educational modular is a set&lt;br&gt;
of knowledge, attitudes and skills which by using them it can be possible to do a part of job independently.&lt;br&gt;
Therefore, the main aim of present study is to check the status of instructional design with modular method in&lt;br&gt;
medical education. This study was done to find out can modular method is used in medical education or not?&lt;br&gt;
Method: The method of this study was a literature review of the two areas of modular training and&lt;br&gt;
medicine. Key words of these areas were inferred and needed materials were found from internal and&lt;br&gt;
international databases such as Magiran, Noormags, SID (Scientific Information Database), Google Scholar,&lt;br&gt;
Cross References, Science Direct and PubMed.&lt;br&gt;
Results: The findings of this study indicated that the effectiveness of modular courses at all levels and in&lt;br&gt;
most areas of cognitive and practical issues was approved and Studies of the effectiveness of these courses&lt;br&gt;
even on issues related to medical science and experimental science have confirmed.&lt;br&gt;
Discussion and Conclusion: Due to the particular characteristic medicine, medicine courses can be&lt;br&gt;
designed to be modular, In that way, these modular with creating different skills and getting them together can&lt;br&gt;
train medical specialists and experts.</abstract>
